Ms. Lea is not only a REALTOR® but has 16 years experience as a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser, qualified for appraising both FHA and Conventional properties. As a REALTOR®, she has been awarded the professional designations of SRES, GRI & e-Pro. She also has earned the “Land Use Specialist” title as a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser.
Ms. Lea first obtained her Real Estate Sales License in 1977. She has formerly been associated with Mike Milner Real Estate Services & Real Estate Appraisers, Inc., Jack Waggoner (a real estate investor), Dan McCarty (a real estate investor), and Nat Summers of Summers Investments (a real estate investor and entrepreneur who purchased Lake Country Estates, donated land to the US Mint in Ft. Worth, etc.).
She has actively participated as a partner in real estate investments, subdivision developments and as a single-family landlord.
She became a designated fee appraiser of FHA in 1994 and has held the Candidate designation with NAIFA from 1997-2010. She has held both Oklahoma and Texas Residential Real Estate Appraiser’s Certifications simultaneously, appraising single family residences, rural land, and unimproved property.
She has been known to provide public speaking services on the topics of “Dressing for Success”, “Appraising Manufactured & Modular Homes”, an educational speaking series on property valuation entitled, “For What It’s Worth” and other topics related to professional women’s interests.
She has served on the TREPAC committee of her local board & serves as Members Service Chairperson currently. Her local association has awarded her the 2009 REALTOR Spirit Award. She has served on the Board of Directors for Zonta International & on the Membership Committee of Business Networking International - Profit Builders Chapter.
Carol Lea is a member in good standing with Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, Texas Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS, Greater Metro West Association of REALTORS, Business Networking International-Profit Builders Chapter, and Zonta International.
